A hill station in Idukki, Kerala, at about 3,500 feet, with wide views over the mountains, valleys and villages below. Windmills line the ridge and the sunset turns the sky gold and crimson.
Ramakkalmedu is a windy ridge in Idukki on the Kerala and Tamil Nadu border. The group spends a full day there: a jeep safari to Amappara and the caves in the morning, a walking trek after lunch, sunset from the ridge and a campfire with DJ at night.
