- Starts by train from Thrissur

In Kerala colleges the class trip is often called an IV (industrial visit) or a study tour. Trip Campus plans these trips for departments and classes from start to finish: train or tourist bus, rooms, three meals a day, entry tickets and sightseeing.

A river-adventure day in the Dandeli forest followed by two days of Goa's churches, forts and beaches.

The same Dandeli and Goa circuit with a full day among the Vijayanagara ruins at Hampi added at the start.
Two Sahyadri hill stations and two days in Mumbai, travelling by sleeper train from Kerala.

A jeep day on the peaks of Chikmagalur, a river-adventure day in Dandeli and two days of Goa's churches, forts and beaches.
Karnataka's coffee hills, the Kali River and the beaches of Gokarna, with pickup and drop at Mangalore railway station.

A short train trip: one day of river activities in Dandeli and one day of caves, beaches and Murudeshwar on the Karnataka coast.
A jeep safari and sunset on the Ramakkalmedu ridge, then across to Kodaikanal for its caves, cliffs, pine forest and lake.
Shorter Kerala trips (3 days by bus) such as Munnar and Vattavada and Wayanad 900 Woods also work as a quick class trip.
IV stands for industrial visit. In many Kerala colleges the term is used for the department or class tour, which usually combines travel and sightseeing over 3 to 6 days. Some courses also include a visit to a company or institution.
Tell Trip Campus which kind of visit your department needs and on which route. Trip Campus will tell you whether it can be fitted into the plan.
For 5 to 6 days, the Karnataka and Goa train tours (Dandeli and Goa, Hampi, Dandeli and Goa, or Chikmagalur, Dandeli and Goa) and Lonavala, Matheran and Mumbai are the most complete. For a shorter trip, Dandeli and Gokarna takes 4 days, and the Kerala hill trips take 3.
Each student should carry a college ID card and a government photo ID. Your college may also ask for a permission letter and parent consent before the trip.
